ProofPass was founded by Kartia Ciavarella-Wilson after recognising a common frustration faced by consumers and retailers alike: lost receipts, difficult returns, warranty claims, and the dreaded tax time paperwork.
As a busy mum of two boys, staying organised was already a challenge. Receipts would end up piled into a box, lost in drawers, or forgotten altogether. The important ones were kept in a purse, only for the ink to fade over time, leaving no proof of purchase when it was needed most.
Like many Australians, Kartia experienced the frustration of searching for receipts when returning products, making warranty claims, or preparing records for tax time. She realised there had to be a better way.
That simple idea became ProofPass.
