The inspiration behind ProofPass
I created ProofPass because I was tired of losing receipts.
As a busy mum of two boys, I was constantly dealing with paper receipts that ended up in a drawer, a handbag, or a box — only to find the ink had faded or the receipt was missing when I actually needed it. Returns, warranty claims, and even simple proof of purchase became stressful and time-consuming.
I realised this wasn’t just my problem. Most people lose receipts, struggle to find them when they need them, and waste time dealing with returns or claims. Retailers also spend unnecessary time verifying purchases and handling disputes.
ProofPass was built to solve that. One simple QR scan at checkout, and the receipt is securely stored forever — ready for returns, warranties, insurance, or anything else.
That’s the problem I wanted to fix: making proof of purchase easy, reliable, and always accessible.
Our long-term vision for customers and retailers
In the long run, I hope ProofPass becomes the trusted digital home for everything people own.
For customers, that means never having to hunt for a receipt again. Whether it’s a return, a warranty claim, an insurance matter, or selling something second-hand, the proof is already there — organised, secure, and easy to share.
